After a seemingly routine arrest of a man exposing himself in Central Park, Rollins has a bad feeling about the suspect, who has lived under numerous aliases and masterfully outplays SVU at every turn. The situation escalates, and Benson is placed in mortal danger at the hands of a criminal mastermind.

- Hollywood Law: The judge declares a mistrial after it turns out the physical evidence may have been contaminated. This isn't grounds for a mistrial in real life. The defense can present it to the jury and encourage them to ignore that evidence, but the judge wouldn't declare a mistrial, especially if it was only possible, not certain, that the evidence was contaminated.
