A young lawyer named Jaquelyn Ogden is found dead in the conference room of a law firm, her head bashed in with an award. Since she was pregnant, the detectives seek DNA samples from the other lawyers in the firm, none of whom agree. Green escorts reluctant witness Kenny Peluso to court, but on the way, they are both shot, with Peluso ending dead and Green critically injured.
