Zander is thrilled when he and the family are hired to do ship repairs on Tattoine during podracing season. They soon find out, however, that the new "job" is a trap set by Graballa the Hutt. Meanwhile, Rowan starts having doubts about if Naare is actually the Jedi she claims to be.
Tropes for this episode include:
- The Ace: Boba Fett, by comparison to Graballa’s usual goons. Graballa even tries to buy him out.
- Berserk Button: Naare forcibly breaks up the Group Hug that Zander and Kordi initiate.
- Break the Cutie: Rowan's face falls as he listens to Palpatine's voicemail, which reveals that his Jedi teacher is actually a Sith Lord.
- Deadpan Snarker: Jabba the Hutt, in complete Huttese, has cutting remarks on Graballa's enterprise.
- Internal Reveal: Rowan finds out that Naare is actually a Sith Lord and she's working for Emperor Palpatine to assemble the Kyber Saber.
- Living Macguffin: Graballa wants to use Rowan to find the rest of the crystals and plans to hold him hostage.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain:
- Graballa's scheme leads to a chain of events where the Freemakers evade him, win the podrace by accident, and learn of Naare's Sith background. At least, Rowan learns the latter.
- Palpatine leaving voicemail for Naare ends up clueing in Rowan about her true loyalties.
- Wham Episode: Rowan learns about Naare's true loyalties and pickpockets one of her lightsabers, and Graballa the Hutt is after the Kyber Saber Crystals for profit.
- Wham Shot: Rowan digs around Naare's ship for a weapon while she and his siblings are fighting the bounty hunters, and he finds a lightsaber. Only when he turns it on, it's red. The color of the Sith.
- Your Mom: Boba Fett is immune to these kind of jokes, for obvious reasons.
