- All for Nothing: The gang go through an attempted heist, attempted murder and a car chase to get back Clementine...only for it to be blown to pieces by the explosives inside.
- Breather Episode: A much more comedic, low-stakes episode that has nothing to do with the larger storyline.
- Drives Like Crazy: Nicky lampshades how she's not the best driver as "precision driving wasn't a big thing at the monastery!"
- Everyone Has Standards: When Lief orders his goons to kill Aletha and Dennis, they point out they're private security, not murderers. He decides to do it himself before Nicky shows up.
- Secret Test of Character: Evan tells his boss there was nothing on the security tapes he'd wiped of Nicky's actions. She sighs "I had such hopes for you" as she reveals she'd already made copies of those tapes and knows Evan is covering for someone on them. Too late, Evan realizes his boss was A) testing him, B) firing him and C) working for Tan.
