- The Bore: Tyrannis is known as the "party killer" because he bores everyone he talks to. When Dionysius takes over the party and it threatens to destroy the forest, it's Tyrannis who brings down the vibe and save the day.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: Tyrannis comes across a pair of lizards and asks if they can talk or choose not to, they each shake/nod their heads to his questions. No sooner has he left than the lizards soon turn out to be Deliria and Shlub in disguise.
- Gaia's Vengeance: The wood nymphs are using the party as a cover to seduce and assassinate key humans to prevent the spread of civilization at nature's expense.
- Incredible Shrinking Man: Stupendous starts shrinking after consuming a magic bean.
- Literal Split Personality: Eating magic beans makes Hippocampus' inner critic to split off from his body.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Hippocampus' inner critic is about to tell him what the worst thing about him is. Which turns out to be "You have no self-esteem," so it ends up being more of a You Are Better Than You Think You Are speech.
- Self-Duplication: In The Stinger, Paizo eats one of the magic beans and starts duplicating smaller clones of himself. He begins hitting on himself and feeding each new duplicate more beans which increases them. A wood nymph in hiding sends a message that a bean duplicate orgy is on the cusp of happening again.
