Recap / Kiss That Kills Parallel E 7

Go To

The episode describes the parallel world where Mikoto dies after Saiko’s kiss, from Takauji’s point of view. He gives in to despair and makes a mistake at work, causing a huge loss to the Namiki group. The board members lose their trust in him, and the cover-up of the cruise ship accident is also exposed by Hasebe. Takauji loses everything and becomes a host named Nine, quickly reaching No.1. Hotei has also joined him as a host. Nanako visits his club and tells Takauji that she has quit the horse club, revealing that she only joined because she was interested in Takauji. Marin visits the club and Takauji tells her that he knew that she was a hostess from the start, and looked down on her, however he now understands the hardships of working in the nightlife business. Nao visits the club and questions Takauji’s decision to become a host. He tells her that as Mikoto only loves Eight, he must become Eight. Nao tells him that Mikoto is no longer in this world, but Takauji tells her that she is still here. After work, Takauji walks home to the apartment where Eight lived in the original timeline. It is revealed that he has preserved Mikoto’s body in her wedding dress in his apartment and has hallucinations of Eight taunting him that Mikoto chose him. Takauji smiles and tells Mikoto’s body that she belongs to him, remaining in deep denial of her death.
