Recap / Kingdom Hearts III Limitcut Episode

The episode starts in the Land of Departure where Terra congratulates Riku for becoming a Keyblade Master and Riku proud to finally fulfill his promise to Terra. Riku watches Terra, Aqua, and Ventus don their Keyblade Armor before departing to the Realm of Darkness, with Aqua telling Riku she'll be fine going there so long as she has her friends.

One year later, everyone has split up to search for clues to Sora's whereabouts:

• Terra, Aqua, and Ventus are still searching in the Realm of Darkness.
• Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are visiting worlds Sora has been to previously.
• The Twilight Town gang are searching Roxas and Xion's memories.
• Kairi has Ansem the Wise and his apprentices place her into a deep sleep so they can hopefully find a connection in her heart to Sora.

For the entire year, nobody has found any results. Riku meets with Leon, Cid, Aerith, and Yuffie to see if they found anything. Cid's computer has connected to the computers in Twilight Town and Ansem the Wise's castle, and Cid is able to combine the data they send to create Data-based copies of Sora and the members of the Real Organization XIII. They believe they will find a clue if they have Data-Sora fight and defeat each member. Despite this, Sora's data doesn't get updated, leaving them back at square one.

However, hope arrives when the Fairy Godmother is sent by Yen Sid and Merlin to speak with Riku about the dreams he's been having recently: namely Riku searching an entire city for Sora while getting the feeling he's being watched (the Secret Ending of Kingdom Hearts III). Yen Sid believes that since Riku has been in Sora's dreams before, his dreams may be the key to finding Sora. The Fairy Godmother also believes the "other two's" dreams might help as the scene cuts to Kairi, then the Final World...
