Peggy takes over the organic garden at the school, but gets thrown off the project when she uses chemical-based pesticides on the garden.

- Apathetic Student: The organic garden initially existed as an easy way for non-athletic students to get out of gym class, especially since the previous teacher tended it all on his own and the students spent that time just watching him. Peggy naturally doesn't let that fly on her watch and starts assigning gardening tasks for the students, and with Bobby's help, they're able to turn it around.
- Broken Pedestal: After pests ruin Peggy's crops and she's finding organic methods to get rid of them inadequate, she visits the previous, now-retired teacher who used to manage the entire garden on his own and asks him how he was able to pull it off with no help. He nonchalantly confesses that he used pesticides when nobody was looking, which naturally gets Peggy incensed, causing her to yell at him that he's been growing a garden of lies.
