Barry is out gardening once again when he suddenly discovers a letter from his father, who invites him for a visit. His father is what a real bear should be, strong and fierce, while Barry's gardening hobby is way too soft for him. He tries to do the best he can to prepare for the visit with Krash and Chiko's help. First, they start with loud roaring, which doesn't impress the two. Then, they move on to the bears' more primal instincts, like messy eating or quadrupedal running. During the training, Barry is constantly tempted by the things he loves, like flowers or beekeeping, but he tries to keep training.
However, when at the end of their training Barry is forced to get rid of his garden, he can't get himself to do it, remembering how long it took for him to plant it. He eventually decides to tell his dad the truth and that he's proud of who he is. However, when he gets an another letter saying his dad has to come to visit his son on his own, Barry decides to repeat their training.
