Other dub names: Cooking Up a Storm (4Kids)

Barry finds a carrot in his a vegetable garden and prepares to eat it, but Dokko snatches it out of his hands. He thinks Barry behaves like a wild animal, dugging it up and eating it immediately, but as a cultured animals, they should know what cooking is.

Dokko demonstrates to Krash, Barry, and Chiko (Who's sleeping throughout the episode) how to choose and peel carrots correctly. He then suggests going to the vegetable garden and picking up new ingredients for the dish. While his friends are picking fruits and vegetables, Barry tries to pluck some plums from a tree, but is interrupted by Dokko. After that was done, Dokko takes a large knife, slices the collected fruits and vegetables and prepares to fry, boil and saute them. While the dishes are not ready, he suggest to go walk up an appetite. The final step Dokko makes is to salt ready-made dishes, though he discovers he used sugar, but claims it'll be fine.

He sets the table and distributes meals to his friends. However, Krash and Chiko don't find his cooking delicious and run out into a street. Dokko feels that something is missing in his dishes. Barry replies that the only thing missing is an appetite. He already ate his and Krash and Chiko's dishes, and offers Dokko to eat his portion.

  • Captain Obvious:
Dokko: If you cook something over low heat, it will cook rather slowly, and on high heat, it cooks quickly!
  • Cordon Bleugh Chef: Dokko mixes carrots with pineapples, cucumbers, pumpkins and honey, then pours sugar onto them.
