Barry finds a strange object while digging up his vegetable garden. He takes it to Dokko, who examines it and explains that it's a truffle, a rare delicacy. He invites everyone to eat it together. He is about to split the truffle, but Rosa stops him. She says that because the truffle will be divided into nine small pieces, no one will be able to properly taste it. Therefore, they should let someone eat a truffle and tell others what it tastes like. Carlin holds a lottery, where it's decided that Krash should be the one to eat it. Rosa is unhappy because Krash's tastes aren't discerning and he will not be able to appreciate the taste. Rosa nominates herself, to which Krash suggests Chiko to be the best choise. Carlin decides to hold a vote.
Krash goes with Chiko to the voting place. He beats the drum and asks to vote for his friend. Meanwhile, Rosa holds a presentation where she presents herself as an ideal person, and Chiko as a bully. When Krash sees this, he paints a moustache on Rosa’s portrait. Wally and Rosa attack Krash, and their friends try to separate them, accidentally tearing apart the posters. Carlin offers to vote. The same number of KikoRiki voted for Rosa and Chiko, but Krash rises to the stage and raises Carlin's hand. Chiko wins the vote, but Rosa got so maf, she ran up to the table, and ate the truffle... She almost immediately spits it out; the truffle tastes terrible. Dokko examines the remains and concludes that this was in fact a lump of compost. He offers his friends to try it, but they already left the scene.
Tropes:
- 2D Visuals, 3D Effects: Lottery balls and the big ball KikoRiki make when trying to seperate Rosa and Krash are made using 3D graphics.
- All Elections Are Serious Business: The election in this case is made to vote on who will get to taste the truffle. It is as ridiculous as it sounds, and is treated very seriously by most of the characters.
- Attack of the Political Ad: Rosa holds a presentation where she denigrates Chiko with all her might.
- Blood on the Debate Floor: Krash and Rosa start fighting on the stage after the former draws a moustache on latter's portrait, with others trying to seperate them.
- Hitler Cam: Shown during the elections speech
- Decided by One Vote: Chiko wins the vote after Krash makes Carlin give the last vote to him.
- Mustache Vandalism: Krash draws Hitler's mustache and bangs on the Rosa’s portrait. They were replaced with normal ones in the 4Kids dub.
- Furry Reminder: Dokko and Rosa are the ones to show the most interest in the truffle. In nature, moose and pigs are the two species that really love truffles.
