This year has a completely snowless winter. Krash and Chiko are going to the mountains for a Christmas tree. Chiko does not understand why it is necessary, to which Krash responds that there is no snow in the forest, but there is some on the mountains, so they should get a fir tree from there. He pulls out a saw and an axe from the house, and the two rush towards the mountains.
Barry, Carlin, and Dokko are trying to simulate the snow in Barry's garden by painting the fence with white paint and sprinkling some white powder on the ground. Krash and Chiko run past. After learning that they are going to the mountains, Barry asks to bring some snow, but Krash can't promise anything.
Wally is having a hard time carrying Rosa on a sled. When Krash and Chiko run past, Wally and Rosa also asks to bring some snow, getting the same response.
Olga and Pin are trying to make snow with the help of Pin's new invention running on washing powder. Unfortunately, the machine breaks down, leaving behind a puddle of ice and some soap foam. Krash and Chiko run by, and Pin asks them to bring some snow. They give a same response as before.
High in the mountains, Chiko offers to cut down a fir tree, but Krash rejects it as being too small. He thinks that a size of a fir tree should compensate for a lack of snow in their valley. He then finds a huge, thick fir tree and hits it with an axe. This causes an avalanche that demolishes Krash, Chiko and the fir tree. The avalanche ends up being so strong, it covers the whole valley with the snow, but Krash ends up only having a tiny fir tree.
Tropes:
- Continuity Nod: When Krash is looking for an axe and a saw, he pulls out the false teeth from "Krash's New Teeth" out of his house.
- Dreaming of a White Christmas: Downplayed at first, as there it is supposed to be winter, but the snow is nowhere to be seen, which disappoints about everyone. Then Krash and Chiko go to the mountains (which are full of snow) and cause an avalanche, finally bringing the snow to the valley. Credits scene shows that a snow flurries started happening shortly after the events of the episode.
- Hair-Trigger Avalanche: Krash and Chiko decide to find a big Christmas Tree on the mountains, with its size compensating for a surprising lack of snow elsewhere. When Krash finds one and tries to chop it off with an axe, he accidentally triggers a huge avalanche, which floods the valley and finally brings a lot of snow to it, but leaves Krash with a small fir tree.
