Other dub names: Germs of Endearment (4Kids), The Healthy Hedgehog! (Studio 100)

Chiko is worried about his health. He listens to himself with a stethoscope, looks at his tongue in the mirror, but suddenly Krash calls him to go fishing. On the way, Chiko can't tear himself away from a health book. It seems to him that he has a fever, and when he accidentally falls into the water, he thinks that he has swallowed a lot of germs and faints. Olga examines him and concludes that he is as healthy as ever, but gives him recommendations for a healthy lifestyle.

The next day, Krash comes to Chiko's house and sees that his friend has covered all the windows, put health posters on the walls, and filled the floor with disinfectant solution. Chiko himself has been washing his hands for half an hour and still doubts their cleanliness. He refuses to shake the paw of Krash because it is not disinfected. Krash takes offense and leaves. The next day, he comes back to Chiko and offers him to play table tennis. However, he sees that Chiko has cut holes for eyes and hands on the door so that he could give handshakes again. He also claim he has a stain on his arm. Krash denies the presence of it, and when Chiko climbs the ladder for a magnifying glass to examine his hand, he falls down the stairs and breaks his leg.

Krash and Chiko are lying on the grass enjoying the good weather. Olga calls them to drink tea, and Krash takes his friend in a wheelbarrow straight to the table. They take pieces of pie from the plate, forgetting to wash their hands, which Olga reminds them of.

Tropes:

  • Hypochondria: Chiko suffers from this through the whole episode to the point of isolating his house, despite Olga's claims that he's fine. He gets over it at the end of the episode, though.
  • The Stinger: In the scene after the credits, Krash learns from Chiko's book that he has all the signs of senility.
  • Terrified of Germs: Chiko is so afraid of germs in the water and air that he became Obsessively Organized.
