Krash comes to Pin and shows him the blueprints for the voice-altering device that Dokko made. Meanwhile, Dokko has put an antenna on the roof of the house and sends his signal at different frequencies. Krash comes to him and says that Pin can't make out anything in his drawings. Dokko is angry at Pin for his incomprehensibility and considers the idea of Krash stupid, but suddenly a message comes to his walkie-talkie, and Dokko rushes to write an answer.
Some time passes. Dokko continues to communicate with his invisible interlocutor through a walkie-talkie, and when he asks his name, Dokko decides to introduce himself as Lieutenant Despair. His interlocutor, in turn, calls himself Rapier. Krash comes to Dokko's house again and again and tells him that Pin can't make out his drawings. Dokko laments that no one understands him. Pin doesn't understand his drawings, and Krash doesn't understand that changing the voice is stupid. Krash replies that his voice deceives others and gives the impression that he is a frivolous fool, so he needs a truthful and honest voice. He offers Dokko to go to Pin together and sort out the drawings, but a message comes over the radio from Rapier, who writes that no one understands her. Dokko returns to the table and writes that no one understands him either.
At night, Dokko decides to leave the valley and go to the source of the signal to find a Rapier that understands him like no other. Dokko reaches the coast when suddenly the signal disappears, plunging him into despair. Nearby, Pin climbs onto the roof to fix the antenna and says that his signal is also gone. When he finishes the repair, Dokko's transmitter starts receiving a signal from the Rapier. Pin and Dokko are shocked to realize that they have been communicating with each other all this time. Later, Pin and Dokko sit together on the coast. Dokko offers to help Pin sort out the drawings, but he replies that he figured it out himself. Krash comes out on the threshold of Pin’s house and shows them the work of his voice changer, complaining that he has become slower to talk, after which he falls off the lift. Dokko remarks that this is good because this way he will have time to say less nonsense.
