Other dub names: Less Figures, More Feeling (Studio 100)

Artistic Expression Part 1

Krash and Chiko watch as Rosa performs a slow and dramatic dance on the ice that impresses Olga, Carlin, and Barry, who are judging the tournament. After Rosa finishes her performance, Krash goes on the ice and performs a fast and dynamic dance in front of the judges.

Later, when Krash and Chiko return from the rink, Krash wonders why an assessment for artistry is needed. Perhaps he has exactly the artistry that is needed for this number. Chiko says his figure skating is to figure. There are some empty figures, but there are no emotions. Friends watch Rosa and Wally train, and Krash decides to try to do some artistry. In the evening at the skating rink, Krash repeats his dance, trying to add emotions. Chico does not like his program, and he notices that the figures and artistry in it are separate and that they should form a single whole. For example, Chico shows him an example of a dance plot. Let him imagine that he had some kind of grief and that, after many experiences, meaning appeared in his life. Krash asks who he means. Chiko leaves without saying a word.

In his house, a sad Krash eats a carrot from a box. Suddenly an idea comes to him, and he runs as fast as he can to wake up his friend.

Artistic Expression Part 2

Krash brings Chiko to the skating rink and demonstrates his new sensual dance to him. Chiko is very surprised by this progress and asks his friend how he managed it. Krash tearfully explains to him that he prepared a box of carrots in the fall, but all the carrots froze over. When he saw it, he felt bitterness and realized that he could convey it on ice. Chiko praises his friend and says that this is just the beginning.

The championship final is held the next day. Rosa finishes her speech. Chiko asks Krash if he's ready to perform, but he suddenly declares that he doesn't feel anything. He has already come to terms with the loss of a box of carrots, and he does not have any artistry. Sad Krash gets up from the bench and leaves, lamenting. Once on the ice of the lake, he puts all his emotions into the dance and dances so beautifully and sensually that he brings all the judges to tears, and they unanimously give him the highest score. Chiko bitterly notes that Krash will not be able to repeat this dance because he danced out of desperation. After hearing this, the judges declare that in this case the dance is no good because they need artistry. The judges disperse, and Chiko picks up the discarded sign with the highest score and holds it over his head. Krash rises from the ice and says that he is tired of grieving because life goes on and joyously goes away.
