Krash practices his karate techniques, with Chiko drawing on the snow nearby. He doesn't really understand why Krash does these workouts. Krash considers his friend too naive; he does not yet understand what dangers lie ahead. For example, he asks Chiko to hit him and reflects the blow. (on the third attempt)
When they return home, Krash finds a chain of footprints passing through the path. He immediately suspects an enemy spy, because if it were a friend, they would have followed the path. Krash and Chiko ambush a tree next to the path and wait there.
When the two are almost asleep, someone appears on the road, and Krash catches them in the net. When he lights up the enemy with a flashlight, he discovers that it's just Barry. A bear explains that he went to the woods for firewood but returned home to turn off the kettle. Chiko is ashamed that they could even suspect one of their friends was an enemy and runs away. Krash catches up with him and promises to not engage in self-defense anymore. Chiko forgives him and goes to sleep, but as soon as he closes the door, Krash puts on his bandana again and hides in a snowdrift to guard his friend while he's sleeping. Meanwhile, Barry, forgotten on the grid, calls his friends for help.
Tropes:
- Animal-Themed Fighting Style: The "Mad Rabbit" style that Krash practices is simply blinding Chiko with his hat and kicking him towards the tree.
- Self-Offense: Krash mistakes Barry, who was coming home because he forgot to turn the kettle off, for an enemy. Krash realizes that he made a mistake after catching him, but still stands by his point.
- Something We Forgot: The episode ends with Barry still caught in the net, screaming for help, completely unnoticed by anyone.
