Magnets! Aren't they just a ball of fun?
(opens in monochrome)
Setchan: Previously on… Zenkaiger! (flings aside the monochrome, restoring color)
Too much nostalgia can be bad for you, as it stops you from being able to move forward!
By the way, did anyone else notice Stacy acting a bit strange?

Convincing Boccowaus to give him another gear, Gege sends out Jishaku Wald to enact his schemes. All of the sudden, things start sticking to the Zenkaigers, everything from spoons to trucks! And to make things worse, Stacy is in Colorful for some reason, though for a reason that the team doesn't really expect...

Tropes

  • Artistic License – Physics: Despite the overpowered magnetic pull, realistically Juran and Gaon would have been pulled up and gotten stuck onto CrocoDaiOh due to the sheer size and weight difference, rather than pulling the giant airship towards them while still being able to run from it over great distances.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Stacy helps Kaito in luring out Jishaku Wald after taking a liking to Yatsude's kindness, and not wanting to disappoint her with the fact that he's after her own grandson's life.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Jishaku Wald doesn't look like he's about to disable his magnetism any time soon, leaving Kaito utterly useless in battle...until Juran and Gaon suddenly come in running with CrocoDaiOh on their backs, intending to have the Wald be crushed with them. The Wald quickly disables his magnetism in fear as a result, which leads to his defeat.
  • Blackmail: Zocks gives Stacy an ultimatum: either he can lure out Jishaku Wald and keep interacting with Yatsude, or not do anything and risk having his identity exposed. Stacy ultimately goes for the former, though it's not without its consequences, as Gege finds out about Stacy’s secret, but is keeping his beak shut… for now.
  • Gratuitous English:
    • Vroon says a random "I'll be back" with a thumbs-up when he's crushed in between a car and a truck.
    • Shortly afterwards, Juran mutters an "oh my god" when him and Gaon see CrocoDaiOh headed straight for them.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: After their combinations get demagnetized, the Kikainoids opt to fling Zenkai Juran at the Giant Jishaku Wald by using negative polarity from going near him. This causes Giant Jishaku Wald to reverse the polarity and have the Kikainoids stuck on him, thus allowing them to simultaneously destroy him with their finishers.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: When Gaon asks Juran what day it is when they're running away from CrocoDaiOh, the latter states that it's Sunday.
  • Line-of-Sight Alias: Stacy takes "Satoshi" as his alias to Yatsude due to the latter mishearing his name as such.
  • Percussive Maintenance: While it isn't explicitly confirmed if CrocoDaiOh operates along the lines of a Motion-Capture Mecha, Flint activates the ship's reverse thrusters without a Geardalinger to avoid hitting Juran and Gaon by just banging on the control console. When forced to push it to maximum output she just bangs on the console even harder and more frequently while yelling.
  • Shout-Out: Vroon says "I'll be back" with a thumbs-up in a way that's clearly a nod to Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome:
    • Due to the Kikanoids being made of metal, they are far more susceptible to the effects of Jishaku Wald's powers, to the point where CrocoDaiOh (a flippin' pirate airship) is pulled to Juran and Gaon.
    • Near the end of the episode, the Kikainoids are barely able to muster the strength to pose after defeating Great Jishaku Wald, because they've spent their time running throughout most of it.
