Enter the Dark power.
Setchan: Previously on… Zenkaiger!
The world was almost completely covered in garbage!
And the Zenkaigers became the Gomirangers!
Huh...? Kaito, who's that guy?

Things seem to be going well... until a young man named Stacy appears. Quickly revealing himself to be aligned with the Tozitend, the team finds themselves fighting past Sentai teams. Put through a crisis of faith, Gaon is torn between his devotion to protecting humans and his duty as a Zenkaiger. Things only seem to get stranger and stranger as Stacy enacts his plans...

Tropes

  • Call-Back: When faced with the fake Gorengers, the Zenkaigers recall having met Akaranger, as part of the all-Red Ranger gathering which occured in The Movie. Kaito enthusiastically greets the fake Akarenger, mistaking him for the real deal, while Juran notes that they hadn't met Akarenger's teammates.
  • Cerebus Retcon: Gaon's Boomerang Bigot tendencies during the past couple of episodes gets Played for Drama here, as his devotion to protecting humans makes him protect the human-looking Stacy and the Sentai he summoned, putting him at odds with his duty as a Zenkaiger.
  • Cliffhanger: Things seem to end well for the Zenkaigers when they destroy the fake Daizyujin, GaoKing, MagiKing and DaiBouken... until Stacy summons even more Sentai mecha to fight.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle:
    • The Zenkaigers are on the end of a brutal one when they're up against Stacy's fake Sentai.
    • After Gaon gets his bearings together, the team (sans Kaito) easily take down the fake Gaorangers with ease thanks to the power of Sentai Gear #25. With Kaito, they beat the fake Gorengers at their own game with their version of the "Gorenger Hurricane"... with an eraser erasing the team out of existence!
  • Mythology Gag:
    • Stacy summons fake versions of the Sentai mechs Daizyujin, GaoKing, MagiKing and DaiBouken, forcing the Kikainoid Zenkaigers to fight against their design inspirations. The last time these four mechs were seen together was when the Gokaigers and Go-Busters Gokai Changed their mechs back in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters vs. Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger: The Movie.
      • When any of the previous Sentai mecha are summoned, they come out of the box the DX versions of their toys came in.
    • The Zenkaigers perform the Gorengers' "Gorenger Hurricane" to finish the fake Gorengers off, with Kaito transforming the End Ball into a plastic eraser to literally erase the team out of existence.
  • Nothing Personal: Stacy says this word-for-word to the Zenkaigers, stating that he works for Ijirude because there is someone he aims to surpass, and that he bears no ill will towards them.
  • Oh, Crap!: How the Zenakigers react to Stacy summoning Daizyujin, GaoKing, MagiKing and DaiBouken to attack them.
    • The Kikainoids get a double dose of this when Stacy summons even more Sentai mechs to overwhelm them.
  • Stylistic Suck: If you look closely on the plastic eraser the End Ball transforms into, you can see four wires holding the eraser up before it splits into five.
  • To Be Lawful or Good: Gaon's status as a Boomerang Bigot comes up again as he protects the human-looking Stacy from Zenkai Juran's attack out of prejudice, injuring him, Magine and Vroon in the process. Kaito later on gives him a pep talk, calming his concerns over whether Stacy and his summoned Sentai were potentially innocent humans. He regains his resolve to fight the summoned Sentai after learning they're fakes, while trusting Kaito to handle Stacy by himself.
  • Wham Episode: Stacy makes his first proper appearance in this episode, and the results aren't pretty. He not only nearly beats the Zenkaigers at their own game; he also reveals his own ranger form: Stacaesar.
  • Wham Line: When Kaito questions Stacy about his origins, the latter only has this to say:
Stacy: I might be human. Partially, at least.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Juran spares no words with Gaon after the fight with Stacy, calling him out for not sticking to his duty as a Zenkaiger despite them fighting against their fellow Sentai and a human-looking enemy.
