Eiji decides to meet with Kuroto to show he is willing to stand against Kuroto's regime, but what lessons will Sougo learn from these two men who are driven by their desires?
Episode Tropes:
- Affectionate Nickname: Kuroto has nicknamed Sougo “Poochy” for no discernible reason.
- And Then What?: When Kuroto says that he intends to conquer the whole nation, and then the world, Sougo asks, “Is that it?” Kuroto then responds he would simply have everyone bend to his will, whereupon Sougo acknowledges that he is indeed unfit to be a king.
- Armor-Piercing Response: When Tsukuyomi asks Junichiro how people could like Oda Nobunaga, he in turn asks Tsukuyomi, “If he is really as bad as they say he was, how could he have united the country? No one would have followed him.” This moment helps Tsukuyomi realize that a person’s perceived evil is all a matter of perspective, and reminds her of how Sougo said he trusted her and Geiz’s judgment if Sougo ever seemed to become an evil overlord.
- Auto-Doc: Tsukuyomi’s tablet is apparently capable of healing Geiz’s wounds, only so far as to restore the damaged flesh. Geiz later drops his transformation after destroying a few Waste Yummy, showing that the fatigue from the pain is still with him.
- The Cameo: The moment Kuroto Dan became Another OOO was during the events of Episode 3 of OOO as Eiji would use the TaToBa Kick Scanning Charge on the Neko Yummy.
- Continuity Nod: When Sougo asks Eiji if he has aspirations to become a king, Eiji just responds that he’s fine “[as] long as I have a little money and some underwear for tomorrow.”
- Drunk with Power: While in-character for Kuroto, the stress from living up to the feats of his father seems to have made Kuroto no different from what Masamune had become, with both becoming obsessed over success.
- I Can't Do This by Myself: Eiji tells Sougo to realize that if he were to become a king that there are some things that he can’t do alone, and that he definitely can’t save everyone by himself. It is for this very reason that Eiji himself became a politician, and hopes to reach out to everyone in Japan.
- It May Help You on Your Quest: After Eiji warms up to Sougo, he hands to Sougo his two Ride Watches, one based on his base form TaToBa Combo and one based on TaJaDol Combo.
- Mythology Gag:
- Dr Maki's doll Kiyo-chan can be seen in the shelf behind Kuroto in the scenes where Heure has stopped time to grant him the powers of Another OOO.
- When Woz appears to announce Sougo’s newest form change, the first thing he says is “Happy birthday!” as Kousei Kougami would say.
- Whenever Sougo scores a direct hit using OOOArmor, Another OOO would bleed Cell Medals like any Greeed or Yummy would when damaged in OOO.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: When Sougo finally fights Kuroto one on one using OOOArmor, Sougo rebukes Kuroto’s right to rule saying that Kuroto doesn’t get to decide if he is considered a king, and declaring that the ones who will acknowledge if he is a king will be all of the people who live in the current era.
- Serial Escalation: When it seemed like Sougo was losing ground against Ora using a Castle Doran empowered Time Mazine, the Taka Watchdroid gestures to Sougo to try using his newly acquired OOO RideWatches to even the odds and empower his Time Mazine.
- Wham Line: Junichiro mentions that Geiz has taken his things and left Kujigojido.
- Wham Shot: The next legend Rider appears in front of Drupers being none other than Kamen Rider Gaim himself, Kouta Kazuraba.
