Aruto visits a local vegetable plantation and factory, only to discover that since most of their operations were conducted under AI, since the HumaGear recall all production has stopped, leaving them alone and confused! Aruto, after hearing their complaint, decides to restore the Agricultural Management-Type HumaGear Midori and deliver it to the factory! The factory manager is overjoyed by Midori's return, however suddenly Horobi launches an attack on the same vegetable factory!

Episode Trope:

  • Bait the Dog: Horobi seemingly fulfilled his promise to return Midori to Aruto but instead stabbed and injected her with poison from the back.
  • Birth-Death Juxtaposition: Scenes of Midori being destroyed by Horobi's poison are cut with scenes where Naki's new body begins moving of its own accord, representing Naki's revival.
  • Can't Catch Up: No matter how powerful or skilled Horobi is as a HumaGear, the sheer power gap between him and Zero-One's MetalCluster form is too much for him to handle.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The fact that humans can be influenced through their ZAIASpecs comes back into play here, since once Naki returns to a physical body, they proceeds to hack everyone currently wearing ZAIASpecs to go on a rampage.
  • Hostage Situation: Horobi invokes this, stealing Midori and demanding Aruto to exchange Ikazuchi's Humagear Progrise Key in return.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: It's befitting that Gai, a man responsible for Humagears going berserk, now faces his own product causing humans to go berserk by someone he mistreated.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Yua succeeding in removing Naki from Isamu's chip and into a brand new body only results in not only Naki immediately hacking all the ZAIASpec wearers and forcing them to go on a rampage, putting lives at risk; but if the red eyes are an indication, turning them back into a "tool" under the control of the Ark.
  • Not So Stoic: Horobi has a moment of this when he hits Midori and yells at her to be quiet after she asks him about what he was built for one too many times.
  • Shut Up, Kirk!: Downplayed, but when Aruto tries to appeal to Horobi through his background as a Father-Type Humagear, Horobi refuses to budge and shuts him down by constantly demanding Ikazuchi's Progrise Key in response to Aruto's questions.
  • Tranquil Fury: After seeing Midori was destroyed with his own eyes, Aruto, seething with rage silently transforming and giving Horobi the Curb-Stomp Battle he had coming to him.
  • Wham Shot: Naki finally revived on their brand new HumaGear body.
