Storious has combined the powers of his dead "allies" to create a new book called Grimoire. The swordsmen try to fight him, but thanks to Storious' new surge in power, Touma is powerless before him as Wonder World's expansion continues once again. Furthermore, Storious has brought the four Sages who forged the Seiken and ruled over the Sword of Logos alongside Master Logos back to life, and the stage to Storious' endgame has been set. Will anyone be ready for the final fight for the world?

Episode Tropes:

  • Breather Episode: Downplayed. The episode starts with Storious delivering a brutal defeat to the heroes, but the remainder of the episode is the swordsmen putting their affairs in order and relaxing before the big battle.
  • The Bus Came Back:
    • The Four Sages that Isaac disposed of earlier on to preserve his plans reappear as the "Lords of Wise", zombie thralls enshackled to Storious.
    • Several previous victims of the week make cameos, reacting to the Wonder World and noting the others can't see.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Storious and his Lords of Wise crush the swordsmen, offering Xross Saber its first real defeat in the process.
  • Downer Beginning: The heroes spend the first third of the episode being kicked around by Storious' resurrected Sages.
  • Enemy Summoner: Kamen Rider Storious summons the Sages right after transforming, leaving most of the battle to them. Though he does hit Saber with a magical attack.
  • Friend-or-Idol Decision: Conversed. Luna finally meets with Touma after having avoided him for so long and expresses the fear of locking him from his friends. He emphasizes yet again his intent to come back home.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: Kamen Rider Storious' transformation is heralded by black demonic wings.
  • Horns of Villainy: Kamen Rider Storious has these atop his head, reminiscent of his Megid form's horns.
  • Ironic Echo: After his transformation, Storious usurps Touma's catchphrase.
Storious: This story's conclusion is mine to decide. Original Japanese Line
  • Kubrick Stare: Aided by Creepy Shadowed Undereyes, it's no problem for Storious to pull one off before transforming into Kamen Rider Storious.
  • The Last Dance: The episode is essentially the heroes preparing for one.
  • No-Sell: The Four Sages were the ones that created the Order's fighting styles and as such, can counter everything the swordsmen can do. Even Xross Saber's Finishing Move is rendered useless.
  • Oh, Crap!: When Touma sees Storious charge up a huge attack in his direction, he scrambles for X-Cross Saber and quickly pulls up a makeshift defense.
  • Ominous Owl: The Sages' battle-forms are themed after owls.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: As if to reinforce the urgency of the upcoming battle, the usual upbeat credits sequence does not play. The preview for the next episode starts without transition and has tense music playing.
  • Our Zombies Are Different: The Four Sages have been reanimated and weaponized into battle-thralls by Storious.
  • Plot-Relevant Age-Up: Luna grows up from a little child to a full-grown adult in one of the scenes where she reunites with Touma.
  • Team Power Walk: The episode ends on one, with the heroes banding together for a march on Wonder World.
  • Your Days Are Numbered: Sophia, Luna and Yuri are all connected to Wonder World and are beginning to fade away due to Storious' encroachment. Yuri gives Sophia the Kurayami to protect herself at the cost of accelerating the degeneration of his own sword hand, which he hides from the others.
