Summary
I wasn't sure of how things would go at first, but I'm relieved to see that Touma and Yuri are getting along just fine.
However, they're still at odds with Rintaro, Ogami and the other swordsmen.
The Megid seem to be up to something again, too.
Will everything be all right?
I'm so worried...
Touma's determination is acknowledged by Yuri, and Yuri offers to cooperate. Yuri tells us that the current guild is trying to bring back the Almighty Book, where misuse of that power puts the world at great risk! The enemy is not limited to just the Megiddo, but the true enemy of the guild as well! Meanwhile, having protected the Megiddo causes concern to Rintaro and the others. Ogami and Daishinji are worried about Rintaro and Ren being on the verge of an outburst. Daishinji takes the words of Yuri, the Sword of Light, to heart: "There is no justice within the current guild." Then, Daishinji tells Ogami that he will cross swords with them himself to uncover their true intentions! Meanwhile, Storius uses a high school student to create a new Megiddo...!
Episode Tropes:
- David Versus Goliath: The battle between Saber and Slash showcased the vast differences of experience between the two of them. While the former is technically much stronger than the latter, he's unable to land even a single hit.
- Jump Scare: Possibly unintentional example ensues when the quiet, sort of low key scene with Touma, Mei and Yuri cuts to Legeiel screaming his head off in anger as he stomps around the Megid's base.
- No-Sell: Daishinji easily tanks all of the attacks, forms and upgrades that Touma uses while they're fighting.
- Talk to the Fist: Daishinji does this with Touma, dueling him to see whether he really has betrayed the Sword of Logos as Reika claims.
