At the reunion of his high school soccer club, Ikki reunites with his senior and popular voice actor Subaru Kimura. He also reunites with his batchmate Koji Ikeda, nicknamed "Zico", who is aiming to become a voice actor under Subaru. But when Ikki asks Zico why he quit soccer, Zico lashes out and accuses him of breaking a promise before storming off.

Why did Zico react like that? What promise is he talking about? At a loss for answers, Ikki tries to talk to Zico again, but just then a Deadman appears!

Tropes

  • As Himself: Voice actors Subaru Kimura, Hiroshi Kamiya and Kenichi Suzumura appear as themselves.
  • Battle in the Center of the Mind: Ikki ends up fighting the Sabertiger Deadman again in this episode, but it turns out to be him hallucinating the whole thing while within Happy Spa and ends up having to be restrained by Daiji and another Fenix operative in the process.
  • …But He Sounds Handsome: We have Vice (voiced by Subaru Kimura) fanboying over Subaru Kimura, saying that he's handsome and has a nice voice.
  • Celebrity Paradox: Vice (voiced by Subaru Kimura) appears in the same scene as Subaru Kimura himself.
  • Cliffhanger: As everyone at Happy Spa attempts to clean up Ikki's mess from his hallucination, Subaru emerges from the bath and menacingly comments on how everyone had gathered as he'd hoped. Meanwhile, despite defeating the Sabertiger Deadman once more, Ikki and Vice are still stuck in their shared hallucination.
  • Funny Background Event: While Ikki confides into Subaru at Happy Spa about his suspicions over Zico being the Rafflesia Deadman's host, Tamaki can be seen at the counter prepping an autograph board for Subaru to sign, addressed to Aguilera.
  • Significant Wardrobe Shift: The two cases in this episode are juxtaposed with each other, with Sakura wearing her new outfit as part of Weekend, and Aguilera throwing away and burning her Giff wedding gown in favor of a black outfit that shows her abandoning the Deadmans.
