Summary
Supana Kurogane has managed to break free from his rage and become a newly forged Kamen Rider, but there's no time to celebrate, as there's a new guy out in town, alluring everyone he encounters. What's more, Renge has fallen head over heels for this charming gentleman. Houtaro and his team must now investigate the truth behind the man's charm, but things get complicated when Geryon makes his move with Clotho being part of his latest plot...
Tropes
- Bait-and-Switch: Initially, the rest of the Kitchen Alliance thinks Renge has fallen for Supana given his rather cool transformation last episode and fuel is only added to the fire when he walks up to her smiling with flowers. Renge for her part walks past him, revealing her true crush on Zukyuu.
- Big Damn Heroes: Valvarad barges in to help Houtaro with the Malgam...mostly. He moreso wanted to finish his earlier battle with Clotho.
- Breather Episode: After the previous two episodes dealt with Supana's backstory and an arc surrounding Houtaro and friends getting betrayed, this episode involves shenanigans with a handsome vampire Chemy... at least until Clotho intervenes.
- Cliffhanger: The end show Houtaro and Supana poised to reclaim the Chemies... only for Clotho to swoop in, use both to turn herself into a hybrid Malgam, kick Fire Gotchard into the curb, and leave everyone defeated. All while Zukyuu creates a large heart in the sky ready to "Zukyun" the entire world.
- Due to the Dead: The flowers Supana was carrying were for placing on his parents' grave.
- Even the Guys Want Him: Zukyuu has several men fawning over him, including Kajiki.
- First Love: Parodied with Renge, who refers to Zyukuun as her “third first love”.
- Ignored Expert: Hopper1 knows that Zukyuu is involved immediately, yet the team tries to shut up Hopper1 out of concern their cover is blown. It's not until they reconvene at the restaurant they realize what Hopper1 is saying.
- Mood Whiplash: The hilarity of Renge walking past a bouquet holding Supana contrasts the reveal that Supana got the flowers for his parents' graves.
- Noodle Incident:
- The episode begins with Hotaro and Rinne entering Kitchen Ichinose dressed up as cowboys while Hotaro has Tricera's card in his hand.
- Renge is horrified that a Chemy happens to be her third first love.
- Talking Is a Free Action: Subverted. Gotchard taking a moment to speak to Kamantis before loading the Chemy for a finisher resuts in the Chemy being stolen away from the heroes.
- Wham Shot: Before Valvarad and Gotchard could retrieve the Kamantis and Saberliger Chemys, Clotho absorbs both of them to become a hybrid Malgam, capable of making Fire Gotchard fall.
- The Worf Effect: Clotho's big upgrade is demonstrated when she turns into the Mantis Saber Malgam and sends Houtaro in Fire Appareskebows form flying.
- Wrong Context Magic: Due to receiving a powerup from Geryon, Clotho is able to create a Mixtus from the Kamantis and Saberliger Chemies, something that only the Gotchardriver and its offshoots were shown doing beforehand.
