Shinnosuke and Mr. Belt identify the location of the Great Leader of Shocker and go forth to confront him and end the time loop once and for all.
- Adapted Out: There's a distinct lack of Venosnaker when Ouja does his Final Vent.
- Bus Crash: The special confirms that, indeed, Takumi died sometime after the end of 555 as a result of his Orphnoch body breaking down. Every appearance of him since then is the result of alterations to the timeline.
- Combining Mecha: Kamen Rider-4's Sky Cyclone can combine with two of the Mook fighters, while Tridoron somehow gains the ability to connect on top of the ZeroLiner.
- Grand Finale: To the Kamen Rider 4 mini-series as well as the History Modification Machine arc centering on the movie Super Hero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider #3 which started with the Ninninger vs. Drive TV special.
- Mythology Gag:
- Kamen Rider Drive briefly grabs one of the rod weapons from a Shocker Mook, something the original Kamen Rider did half the time.
- The choice of "evil" Riders (Baron, Dark Kiva, Sasword, Ouja) is significant, as all of them have died in canon at least once, just like the kaijin. (Sasword might not have been evil, but he was a kaijin.)
- Photo Memento: The team (including Takumi) celebrate by getting together for one photo as a mememto before going off one last time to take down Shocker. In the corrected timeline, Takumi is not seen in it.
- Removed from the Picture: Before going to face off against Shocker the group takes a photo. After fixing the timeline and it progressing to the next day the group gets it developed but Takumi (who in the correct timeline now died a decade prior and never lived long enough to meet the later Riders) is now gone from the photo
- Wham Episode:
- Shocker has gained so much power from bringing back all those kaijin that they've moved on to past Kamen Riders, making the Day of the Jackboot scenario from the movie possible in a matter of minutes.
- And the real reason that the one really reversing time with Shocker's machine is believed to be Takumi is revealed, as Takumi had originally been meant to die after the final battle against the Orphnoch King, but Shocker's history modifications had retroactively kept him alive. In turn, his desire to not allow any more deaths fueled Shocker's history modifications, to the point that when the Riders confronted Shocker's Great Leader, the Great Leader had Takumi's own face!
