Shocker's plan to alter the past to rule the future was foiled, returning the past to its rightful place, at the cost of Go's life. Or has it? Strange events are happening around the Kamen Riders of yesterday and today as Shocker returns to try again to take over the world. But can Drive save Go's life, who seems fated to die?
- Chekhov's Gun: The Shift Brace allows Belt-san to monitor Shinnosuke's vital signs. You have to click to the next episode for the payoff though.
- Four Is Death: Shinnosuke keeps waking up on the 4th of April.
- "Groundhog Day" Loop: Shinnosuke keeps repeating the same hour or so, although it's not entirely identical as there's one more Kaijin added to the enemy force each loop, which prevents him from being able to exploit his knowledge of the fight.
- Running Gag: One originating from the movie, which has a hybrid snail-cheetah kaijin (the joke being that it's super-fast and super-slow at the same time). This episode introduces a hybrid ant-elephant kaijin (super-small and super-huge, geddit?)
- Special Edition Title: The usual Drive ending 4 way split screen shows Drive's Zeronos's 4's and Faiz's emblem marks (the stylized R, Altair card mark, Shocker Air Force logo, and stylized Phi) instead of 4 Shift Cars.
- Super Team: As a result of the timeline alterations Drive and Mach now work alongside Faiz and Zeronos. While they are all Kamen Rider's the latter two have entirely different origins and power sources than the Drive Rider's do (ie: Faiz still uses Smart Brain technology instead of Shift Cars).
- Unexpected Character: Naoya Kaido, the Snake Orphenoch. What's really unexpected is his plot relevance, which will come up later.
