Written By: Shogo Muto
Directed By: Satoshi Morota

Sento: With the immense power of the Pandora Box in his possession, the extraterrestrial entity Evolt has begun to take over the country. Having regained his memories of being Katsuragi Takumi, Kamen Rider Build AKA Kiryuu Sento heads to Hokuto in order to learn about the Lost Bottles, which Evolt is collecting...
Sento: You just noticed?
Gentoku: But what’s the cause? Is it because I can’t buy a train ticket on my own? That I refuse to eat green peppers? Or because I can’t sleep without a light on!?
Sento: You’re such a kid! Now, will you be wearing another novelty t-shirt in Episode 41?

We continue right where we left off in the last episode where Evolt has come and Sento alone stands against him. Will we uncover the truth about Shinobu Katsuragi?

Episode Tropes:

  • Chekhov's Gunman: The previously unnamed man who was made into a Smash and sent after Ryuga in the first episode turns out to be a student of Katsuragi's father.
  • Clip Show: Just like back in #26, the nascita gang decide to review everything in perspective thus far to try and understand why Evolt hasn’t just destroyed the Earth already in the 10 years he was around for about 4 minutes or so. The cast lampshade a couple of details, like how the Smash they fought early on seemed to be comprised of people who were close to either Sento or Ryuga except for the person who was the first Strong Smash, Shimizu Kyoichi, who was a student and assistant of Shinobu's.
  • Get Out!: When Gentoku arrives wearing Jamaican clothing with a pineapple drink on hand (and a shirt under his poncho that says "The next level of frontin'" underneath all that), an annoyed Misora chases Gentoku out of nascita.
  • Gotta Catch 'Em All: Once Evolt acquires 10 Lost Bottles, he can do something that would be beyond what is physically possible according to Shinobu Katsuragi, but what that means for our protagonists is currently unclear.
  • He Knows Too Much: After Kyoichi told Sento that Shinobu wanted to gather the 10 Lostbottles with the black Pandora Panel, he is killed off by Evolt before he could say anything else.
  • Mundane Solution: When Evolt decides to use his Black Hole form, Sento simply flash steps up to Evolt and keeps him from docking the Evol Trigger while also unleashing his Genius Finish.
  • Speed Blitz: When we know that Evolt is capable of doing this in his fights and Sento can now do this as well in Genius form, it only makes sense that a fight that involves both of them might devolve into this.
  • The Reveal: The reason why the 60 Fullbottles are composed of weird things like rabbits, tanks, erasers, ghosts, and such were because when Evolt first possessed Soichi, he probed Soichi’s brain for thirty things that he liked from Earth, so Soichi listed things that he remembered from when he was raising Misora. When Evolt wanted to know things that could destroy the things Soichi listed as likes, they started off as destructive things until Soichi came up with nonsensical answers like cakes, blow dryers, and comics so that he could in some way protect these things that Misora liked.
  • Transformation Is a Free Action: Subverted for once. During Sento and Evolt's first fight, after getting beaten handily in Cobra Form, Evolt produces the Evol Trigger and prepares to go into Black Hole Form. Sento promptly just grabs his wrist to prevent him from docking the Trigger with the Evol Driver and delivers a Genius Finish.
  • Villain Respect: Evolt decides to back off and let Sento keep the Fukuro Lost Bottle after experiencing the Genius Bottle’s Nebula Gas neutralizing abilities first hand.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Evolt is absolutely pissed that Sento can continue to oppose him and even damage him in Black Hole form, to the point that he decides that instead of converting Sento into a Lost Smash, he is going to save Sento for last to drive him into the deepest despair.
  • Wham Shot: Professor Shinobu Katsuragi has been with Evolt this entire time working as one of his lab assistants.
  • What Is This Feeling?: Evolt mentions that for him, human emotions have been a simple mimicry for him, but for the first time in his life after being hit with a Genius Finish, he feels like he has actual emotions, and that this is the most fun he’s ever had.
