While Dr. Turner and the kids come up with a plan to solve both the tampered T-Rex food and getting the kids off the island, it may turn out to be more difficult than they originally thought as there are BRAD’s patrolling the island, something is troubling Yaz and they encounter an unexpected dinosaur in the Arctic biome.
- Chronic Hero Syndrome: When everyone runs into a Kentrosaurus freezing to death in the Tundra region, they drop everything and escort him back to the Desert, even though this means the kids miss their window to board a supply plane out. By the very end, it becomes clear that this sort of thing happening AGAIN is seriously undermining everyone's morale.
- Deer in the Headlights: Yaz has this reaction when Big Eatie approaches the group. Kenji has to run back and basically drag her off.
- Instantly Proven Wrong: Dr. Turner and the kids hide from the B.R.A.D.s in behind a locked door. Dr. Turner claims it should hold them back for a while... until the robots immediately unlock the door and start chasing them all again.
- Misplaced Wildlife: Everyone comes across Pierce the Kentrosaurus in the middle of the frozen Tundra biome region. This is a serious problem, as the intense cold will kill the Kentrosaurus soon, and he should be in the Desert biome region.
- Nightmare Sequence: The episode starts with Yaz having a nightmare of several predators they'd been dealing with attacking her - Toro, the I-rex, The Scorpios, and a Ceratosaurus. She suffers from several of them throughout the episode. At the end, Brooklynn, Sammy, and Kenji admit they've been having them, too.
- Percussive Maintenance: When one of the B.R.A.D.s zaps her Snowcat and temporarily fries the electrical system, Dr. Turner hammers it with her fist to get it working again.
- Tampering with Food and Drink: It turns out the island's automated feeding platforms are also providing the animals with nutrient cubes that drive their aggression through the roof, and numb their ability to feel pain.
