In the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident, Yuji Itadori must now make his way in a changed world. However danger lurks, as the elders send the recently returned Yuta Okkotsu to claim his head...
Tropes found in Itadori's Extermination Arc:
- Heel–Face Turn: Choso recognizes Yuji as his "brother" and is now actively working with the heroes to help him out.
- Nothing Is the Same Anymore: With several Grade 1 Sorcerers now dead, Satoru Gojo sealed and Cursed Spirits being made public, the paradigm of the entire series has shifted.
- Rogue Protagonist: Yuta Okkotsu is reintroduced to the story as the Sorcerer meant to carry out Itadori's execution, luckily it's only a feint.
- The Unmasqued World: Following Kenjaku's manipulation of Tengen's barrier and the activation/release of hundreds of Curses and Curse Users the existence of Cursed Spirits, if not all of Jujutsu society, has been made public.
- You Are in Command Now: Megumi Fushigoro has been made the head of the Zen'in clan following Naobito's death from his injuries in Shibuya.
