Johnny and Dukey are at a fall carnival and come across a corn maze. The owner will give a pumpkin-themed go-kart to the one who can make it all the way through without getting launched out from the booby traps scattered within. The boys naturally take on the challenge along with Susan, Mary, Bling Bling Boy, Mr. Black and Mr. White, the General, and Dark Vegan. Who will win the prize?
Tropes:
- Booby Trap: The maze is filled with a few, most of which eject a few participants out of the maze into some hay. There are likewise others, such as a huge pumpkin that rolls towards its targets.
- Chekhov's Gun: The light sword Dark Vegan was wielding to cut through the maze. He drops it after he gets ejected. Susan and Mary use it to pop the corn around them and use the flood of popcorn to reach the gift shop and catch up to Johnny.
- Dungeon Bypass: Attempted by Dark Vegan and Eugene with a light sword and a jetpack, respectively, to burn through the corn maze. It doesn't save them from hitting bobby traps and getting ejected.
- "Eureka!" Moment: The boys reach the middle of the maze, where they just find a worn down gift shop. Thinking they hit a dead end, they double back. Later, Johnny realizes that all rides usually end at the gift shop, which means the exit is in the gift shop. Susan and Mary likewise realize this when they see Johnny nearing the exit on an aerial drone.
- Lost in the Maize: There's a legend of a participant who went into the maze and never left. At first everyone, thinks it's just made up, but Johnny and Dukey actually do find him when he saves them from the booby traps.
