The Guardians and their new allies have their first mission, as Will is kidnapped to Meridian in an attempt to steal the Heart of Kandrakar.
- Baddie Flattery: Cedric admits to being impressed by Tohru's strength during their Brawler Lock.
- Brawler Lock: Tohru and Cedric do this at the end of their fight. Tohru ends up winning by suddenly grabbing Cedric's chest and lifting the snake-man into the air before throwing him down an oubliette.
- Chain Pain: Tohru briefly uses a chain as a whip against Cedric.
- Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?:
- Everyone looks is disbelief when Tohru manages to lift Cedric, a humanoid snake twice his size, into the air.
- Phobos and the Lurdens are shocked when Jackie manages to knock the magical prince down.
- For Want Of A Nail: In canon, Gargoyle loses a hand when he grabs Irma through a portal and Will closes it with his arm still midway through. That doesn't happen here due to Jackie rescuing Irma from Gargoyle.
- Vine Swing:
- Jade swings from one of the thorny vines of Phobos's throne room when she attempts to rescue Will.
- When the other heroes cross the castle moat by using a vine to swing over (like in canon), Tohru cries out like George of the Jungle for some reason.
