• Deadpan Snarker: Ram grills Subaru for his failed attempt at being funny.
• Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Aqua, of all people, manages to hurt Ainz by using a spell that was considered by the latter as weak and also knocked Shalltear unconscious as collateral damage.
• Dumbass Has a Point: Aqua assumes that Ainz is evil and tries to kill him. While she is jumping to conclusions based on him being undead, she is right about him being evil.
• Funny Background Event: After Kazuma apologizes to Ainz, behind the latter, Shalltear is unconscious following Aqua's attack.
• Man of Kryptonite: Like in her own series, Aqua is walking kryptonite to the undead. Ainz learns this the hard way when her Turn Undead nearly kills him despite him being immune to spells of its level. Shalltear is also knocked out by the attack just by being near it.
• Never My Fault: Aqua blames Ainz and his underlings for her punishment. She ignores the fact that she started the confrontation in the first place because she couldn't stand being with an undead.
• One-Hit KO: Aqua's Turn Undead knocks out Shalltear simply because she was near the blast.
• Standing in the Hall: Aqua's punishment.
• Strange Minds Think Alike: Both Kazuma and Ainz thought about Tanya being different than the others since she came from a world where a world war was happening.
• Tempting Fate: Ainz assumes that Aqua's Turn Undead is too low-level a spell to hurt him. He is Instantly Proven Wrong when he is nearly killed by the attack.
• Too Much Information: Albedo passes out, explaining that she felt a tingle within her loins. Roswall and possibly the other casts did not want to hear that.
• You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Ainz voices his confusion that a Goddess that can make him feel intense pain with a low-level spell could be punched into submission by a normal human being.
