    Superman
Brainiac's mothership provides Superman with a new means to enforce his vision of peace: he takes the strongest fighters from the civilizations Brainiac had collected and founds a new Legion of Super-Heroes. With his Legion and Brainiac's technology, his reign will expand across the entire Multiverse.

    Batman
With the world devastated from Brainiac's invasion, Bruce Wayne spearheads rescue and recovery efforts, leaving the Flash and Green Lantern to lead a new generation of the Justice League. Even though he is officially retired from being Batman, he still works on a means to subdue Superman, who is now imprisoned in the Phantom Zone, but has sworn to escape and resume his reign...

    Supergirl
With Brainiac defeated, Kara Zor-El is now left to try to find a way to liberate the cities Brainiac had collected. She decides interfacing with Brainiac's mothership is too dangerous, so she opts to find another way. Thankfully, the brightest minds from the Justice League are hard at work on restoring the cities, with Kara hoping to restore the cities of Kandor and Argo, the Kryptonian capital and her hometown. Though she couldn't save her cousin, Kara will settle for saving their people in his memory.

    Wonder Woman
Musing on how she was cast out by her sisters and called a tyrant only for the people to beg for deliverance when Brainiac came, Wonder Woman decapitates him and sees the Regime restored to power. Batman, his allies and Supergirl are prosecuted for opposing her and Superman's efforts. Then she vows to return to Themyscira and reclaim her position as Princess of the Amazons, by force if necessary as she and the Regime are shown battling her former sisters-in-arms.

    The Flash
Brainiac had barely hit the floor when Batman and Superman started arguing about what to do with him. Flash couldn’t bear to see them fighting each other again, so he took Brainiac into the Speed Force and gave him the ultimate ironic punishment: dropping him off at the end of time, so he can have the universe to himself like he wanted. And still he kept running, needing some time to himself. That's when Jay Garrick, the original Flash, appears along with several other Speedsters. He tells Barry that there's a new crisis coming, and they need his help to stop it. And so Barry joins them, noting it's good to believe in heroes again.

    Green Lantern
After Hal brought Brainiac to Oa to stand trial for the Guardians, they dropped a bombshell on him: Sinestro has escaped his sciencell, a portion of his oath carved into the walls. Since the corps is still healing up from Superman, a full attack is a no-go. So Hal volunteers to go back to the Sinestro Corps as a double agent. Fear was like an addiction to Hal the first time he went yellow; he hopes that this time, his Will can keep from that...

    Aquaman
Aquaman takes Superman's side and sees Brainiac killed to end the threat he poses for good. But in doing so he paves the way for Superman's return to power and Batman's incarceration. He and his subjects discover an abandoned underwater Insurgency base where Lex Luthor perfected his interdimensional transporter technology. After the Atlanteans build their own version, Aquaman goes through to the other universe from the first game to recruit the heroes he fought against last time to lend their aid once more, and to ask for their forgiveness.

    Atrocitus
Brainiac pays for his crimes with his life, but Atrocitus soon realises he has made a horrible mistake. With the Coluan's death, his ship's power is lost and the countless cities he has assimilated into his collection are destroyed, countless lives lost. As Atrocitus returns to Ysmault he finds his Red Lanterns further consumed with rage — against him — and is almost driven from the planet but for an intervention. Proselyte, the Emotional Entity representing the Indigo Light of Compassion, saves Atrocitus and uses his guilt over the accident to calm him and show him the hole in his policy — that his desire to punish the guilty can cause him to harm the innocent as well as those who deserve compassion. Instantly converted, the Red Lantern leader begins to unite the other Lantern Corps on the grounds that the Emotional Spectrum requires balance; his followers will continue what they've been doing, but will also take into account the importance of the other lights and their policies.

    Gorilla Grodd
Grodd sees an opportunity and turns against Brainiac, noting with glee how the Coluan cannot believe he's being killed by an ape and that he will long relish the expression on his face. Assimilating Coluan technology, he augments his existing psionic abilities and feasts with his fellow apes, while being served by a mind-controlled Batman and his allies, all of them indoctrinated in turn. Time passes and Grodd's power and control over Brainiac's tech grows, until he declares himself Emperor Grodd and begins to conquer the world, and soon, the universe, vowing that one day all will bow before him...

    Blue Beetle
Against all odds, Jaime Reyes, the newcomer to the Justice League, manages to defeat Brainiac. As thanks, Batman offers Jaime the opportunity to lead the Justice League. Jaime declines, however, and decides to return home, go back to school, and try to live a normal life. Nonetheless, if ever normalcy becomes too boring, there will always be the Justice League.

    Firestorm
On the professor's suggestion, Firestorm overheats the reactor of Brainiac's ship in an attempt to weaken him. Unfortunately, the plan works a little too well and they suffer the same fate as Atrocitus — the ship is destroyed, taking the captive cities with it. Jason and Professor Stein resign from the Justice League out of shame, but promise to be there for Batman if he needs them in the future.

    Deadshot
Realizing what Grodd was up to with Brainiac, Deadshot turns on his "employer" and apprehends both Grodd and Brainiac. In exchange for his help, Bruce Wayne has the nano-bombs in Deadshot's head surgically removed. With the threat of death looming over him now gone, Floyd Lawton is free to see his daughter again. And this time, he's not missing this chance to be there for her.

    Harley Quinn
In recognition of having defeated Brainiac, Batman offers Harley Quinn a place in the Justice League. Having come to enjoy doing good in the world, Harley accepts without a second thought. She still struggles with violent impulses from time to time, but hopes that she can be a true hero, someone her biological daughter Lucy could be proud of. And maybe even tell her she's her mother.

    Robin
Batman dies during the fight against Brainiac, but his sacrifice allows Robin to dispatch Brainiac once and for all. In spite of his hatred for his father, Damian mourns his death along with Superman, realising he never appreciated the meaning of the Bat symbol because he was trying so hard to get away from it. Later, he is seen overlooking Gotham City in the night, having assumed the mantle of Batman in memory of Bruce Wayne.

    Poison Ivy
Poison Ivy uses her pheromones on Brainiac and compels him to kill her enemies and collect every city on Earth, effectively destroying human civilization. After rewarding Brainiac with a deadly kiss and disposing of him, she sets about reclaiming the Earth for the Green, with the only obstacle lying in her path now being the Swamp Thing...

    Bane
Bane busts up Superman and Batman and breaks Brainiac's back Knightfall-style, reflecting on how far he's come from the sickly little boy who grew up in prison. He follows this up by going to prisons around the world and rallying the world's criminals to rise up and join him in his efforts to take over the world. Unfortunately for him, things go a little too well and all worthy challengers are eventually defeated, leaving no one for him to fight against. Bane is forced to confront a horrible realization: sometimes victory can be a prison unto itself.

    Green Arrow
The defeat of Brainiac reminds Green Arrow of his Earth and how they haven't had to fight Brainiac yet. By the time he gets back to warn them of the Coluan's coming, it's too late. But just when all seems lost, the strangest cavalry ever comes in to save the day — a multiversal Justice League, who have been hopping between universes fighting each incarnation of Brainiac. Green Arrow agrees to join them on their mission, vowing no-one across the multiverse will have to worry about fighting Brainiac alone again.

    Black Canary
As much as she wanted to celebrate beating Brainiac, Black Canary immediately headed home to check on her son. Turns out, he's just fine. The stress of the invasion activated Connor's meta-gene, and he now has his very own Canary Cry. Noting that raising him has just got a lot more complicated, she adds it's a good thing she has friends to help her figure this out.

    Catwoman
After defeating Brainiac, Catwoman finally gets the relationship with Batman she sought for so long. But some time afterwards she decides to break up with him because the relationship has lost its appeal for her without the costumes and cops-and-robbers dynamic to make it exciting. From there, she decides to return to burglary, not relying on anyone but herself, and is last seen nabbing a Mother Box in an unknown location.

    Cheetah
Cheetah defeats Brainiac and prepares to finish him off, only for the Coluan to beg for his life with the possibility of striking a deal. Cheetah forces him to place the captive inhabitants of his collection on a world of her choosing, netting herself the ultimate game reserve free of Wonder Woman's interference. And Brainiac? He still doesn't make it out alive, winding up as a shrunken head worn around Cheetah's neck like a pendant as a trophy.

    Captain Cold
After realizing what Grodd's new friend Brainiac intended for the Earth, Captain Cold turns on the other members of the Society. After freezing them over, he decides to find a new way to honor his sister's memory: by using his powers for the sake of justice, going so far as to team up with his old nemesis, the Flash. Believe it or not, he's the best partner Cold's ever had... besides his sister.

    Scarecrow
Scarecrow obtains a sample of Brainiac's blood and uses it to create a special strain of his fear toxin to break Brainiac's mind and take control of his ship. With countless civilizations in Brainiac's collection, Scarecrow turns his mothership into a laboratory in which to conduct his fear-inducing experiments upon an endless supply of unwitting subjects...

    Cyborg
Cyborg kills Brainiac, noting that the humanity inside him that Brainiac so condescended is what allowed him to win, but not before taking his 12th level intellect along with the means to control his ship. With the ship, he sets about restoring not only the cities taken from Earth, starting with his hometown Detroit, but those of other worlds as well. With Brainiac's 12th level intellect, he also resurrects the Teen Titans who had died when Metropolis was destroyed. Titans together. Boo-yah!

    Doctor Fate
The Lords of Order believed Earth cannot be saved and Brainiac's evil could restore Order; nevertheless, Kent Nelson defied them to stop Brainiac's invasion. Fearing that they will hunt him down in retaliation, Fate decides to take up residence in the House of Mystery with John Constantine & Zatanna, who shield him from the Lords. In return, Constantine's daughter, Rose, brings his wife Inza back to life. For the first since becoming Fate, Kent doesn’t know what tomorrow will bring... and he's perfectly fine with that.

    Black Adam
Black Adam returns home to Kahndaq after beating Brainiac to find it devastated by Brainiac's attack and his wife Isis dead. He brings her to a Lazarus Pit, only to be blocked by Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins. Ra's offers a trade — access to the Pit in exchange for Adam's aid in his endeavor to take over the world. Despite his low opinion of The Demon's Head, Adam accepts his terms and is last seen helping him capture Batman, noting that he will gladly pay any price to feel the embrace of his wife again.

    The Joker
After killing Brainiac, the Joker decides to take his collection and use it to create his most sickening, destructive work yet: he restores alien cities and civilizations on Earth without a care, then sits back and watches with popcorn as the fearful and confused alien civilizations burned the Earth to ashes with the wars that begin between them.

    Brainiac
Noting Superman and Batman's shock and confusion at one version of Brainiac being fought and defeated by another, the victorious Brainiac reveals the truth: he is actually Brainiac 5, a descendant of the original Brainiac who comes from the 31st Century. Brainiac 5 is a hero and member of the Legion of Superheroes, and has come back in time to erase the bad name his ancestor has given to Coluans through his crimes. Upon his return, the Legion are unhappy with him for borrowing a time bubble for his efforts, but he assures them they have nothing to fear and he will always be on their side. Long live the Legion.

    Darkseid
Darkseid erases Brainiac with a blast of his Omega beams; no way will he let a lesser being get in the way of his revenge on Superman. In retaliation for Superman's killing of Kalibak, denying his world conquest plans and refusal to accept his rule, Darkseid blasts him out of existence and makes sure to salt the Earth by breaking Supergirl, making her his minion and forging a new, invincible breed of Parademons from Superman's DNA. As Superman took his blood from him, so does the Lord of Apokolips take his from him. Such is the will of Darkseid.

    Red Hood
Reflecting on how good it feels to finally kill Brainiac, Red Hood notes he had to use high-power ammunition to penetrate the alien's armour. But no sooner has that fight stopped than Batman and Superman are at it again. While he agrees with Superman that unrepentant murderers and rapists deserve to die, he can't deny Batman is right about the Regime being tyrants. Rather than stick around and pick a side when he doesn't like either of them much, he strikes out on his own and decides to do things his way — protecting the innocent (saving a little girl) and punishing the guilty (executing Professor Pyg) as he sees fit.

    Sub-Zero
Sub-Zero had accidentally wound up in the realm of Injustice while protecting Earthrealm from Kotal Kahn. In gratitude for defeating Brainiac, Batman offers to aid Sub-Zero in returning to his home dimension. As he waits, Sub-Zero begins to train the newest members of the Justice League. However, Batman accidentally created a gateway to the Phantom Zone, releasing Superman and the other Kryptonians. Because he was partly responsible for Superman's escape, Sub-Zero aids Batman and the Justice League in defending their own Earthrealm.

    Starfire
Starfire returns to the old Titans Tower after defeating Brainiac to reminisce on happier times with her fellow superheroes. With Dick Grayson dead, Beast Boy MIA, Raven now aligned with Trigon and Cyborg a member of the Regime, she is the last remaining member of the Teen Titans. She later thought it was necessary to find new friends, that being Blue Beetle, Supergirl and Firestorm. They may not be the Titans she's known since she first arrived on Earth, but she will honor their memory. After all, she beat Braniac and won. And wins call for mustard parties.

    Black Manta
Black Manta has destroyed the miniaturized Atlantis, but it wasn't enough to avenge his father's death. He can only rest until after he finally settles the score with Aquaman, who decides to bring along Superman and Wonder Woman. They are all nothing compared to Brainiac and Manta believes the world will thank him for killing all three of them.

    Raiden
Kent Nelson dies after the final battle with Brainiac, warning Raiden of the Lords of Order's plot to bring about Armageddon to bring balance to the multiverse. To defeat them, the heroes turn to the Justice League Dark to help out, with Raiden deciding to join them. Together, they will defeat the Lords and save the Injustice-verse.

    Hellboy
After escaping from Brainiac's clutches, Hellboy started fighting crime in the Injustice-verse but got bored rather quickly as it turns out superheroes aren't really his thing. When he returned to his universe, he discovered that fighting monsters for the bureau wasn't the same anymore so he decided to adventure in Africa.

    Atom
The Atom disarms Brainiac from controlling his Skull Ship. With that out of the way, he continues his search of his missing mentor. With no luck, he upgrades his bio-belt with Brainiac's technology and heads to the Microverse.

    Enchantress
During her fight with Brainiac, June decides to destroy him by feeding him Enchantress's magic, causing both of them to disappear. Finally free of the witch, June returns to her normal life before she is taken over by the Enchantress once again who decides that conquering one DC Earth is not enough, she must bewitch all 52.

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Turtles explain how they arrived in the Injustice universe through their enemy Kraang trying to warp them to Dimension X so that they won't spoil his invasion. After the brothers defeat Brainiac, Harley gives them a pizza that is actually laced with 5-U-93-R that enhances their strength and gives the heroes in a half shell an advantage on Kraang & the Shredder when they finally return to New York. The brothers call the story lame and terrible, but Mikey says otherwise.
