- Field of Blades: As the name of the Car implies, Boa and the group's training place is surrounded by Keyblades, each landing on the bladed end.
- It's All My Fault: Chloe confesses that her static is her fault, admitting that she shouldn't have foolishly trusted Specter to give her that trainer kit or fight off the Spearow.
- Late-Arrival Spoiler: Among the many things Chloe reveals are two spoilers for Melancholy Afterlife: she used an incomplete Trainer kit (given to her by Specter), and she fought several dozen Spearows despite the lack of power.
- Meaningful Name: Skara names her Palisman Seket. Seket is a falcon-headed god that is one part of Osiris, Egyptian God of the Underworld.
- The Reveal: Hazel was tasked by the Master of Masters to go to Amelia so that the woman doesn't become a Hopeless Passenger.
- Secret-Keeper: Peacock tells Goh to keep the existence of the Skullheart non-existent to Chloe as she doesn't want the girl to become the next Skullgirl.
- Wham Episode: Let's count the ways, shall we?
- Not only do we get a name for what the Boschazens are, Soul Denizens, but it's revealed they can only be slain specifically by a Weapon of X-Slaying so that the Passenger they come from doesn't come back wrong.
- Amity hurts herself, the fight against Skara at Hexside being revealed to be a Trauma Button for her.
- The Apex gain an upgrade by merging with their reflections, something Hazel thought impossible. Also, it's revealed the Master of Masters released her to help Amelia.
- By confessing to her faults the static on Chloe's number is completely removed, meaning she can finally start working on herself.
- Luz and the twins discover the Blight family's planning a ball where "Boscha" will supposedly come back, setting up the Boiling Isles' counterpart to the Cupid Bee Car.
