- Compilation Movie: In addition to TV clips, this special also hosts a reshowing of the film Kamen Rider V3 vs. Destron Mutants.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: The appearance of Skyrider's Tornado belt differs from that which in the series.
- Framing Device: Tobei Tachibana tells children about the Kamen Riders.
- No Fourth Wall: Akiji Kobayashi is in-character as Tobei Tachibana, is recognised by children as such and speaks of the Kamen Riders as his old friends, though it is suspicious that he is paying a visit to Toei's Oshima studios where there's a bunch of Kamen Rider merchandise. Then it goes out of the window once he shows off Kamen Rider scripts and talks about the upcoming Kamen Rider.
