The wizard of Champignac (once translated as The wizard of Culdesac) is the first album of Spirou & Fantasio with a full-lenght story. Spirou, Fantasio and Spip go on camping near the village of Champignac. But their quiet vacations are quickly perturbated by strange phenomenons such as blue mushrooms and pigs, perishing cows, giant rabbits and snails...The local population accuse a Bohemian to be a wizard and to cause the phenomenons, but appearances can be deceiving. This album is the first to feature both the Count of Champignac, the eponymous village, and most of his usual inhabitants.
