Liv and Clive investigate a triple homicide. Unfortunately for Liv, the heads are missing.
- Cannibal Larder: The missing heads turn up in the zombie DA's fridge.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Vaughn arranges a gruesome motorcycle accident for a man who disparaged Max Rager on Twitter.
- Drinking Game: Peyton tries to get Ravi to play a Zombie High drinking game with her, where they drink every time one of the kids screams. Having seen the show before, Ravi knows how bad an idea this is.
- Hangover Sensitivity: Ravi reacts this way to drinking with Peyton.Liv: Is your breakfast not using its indoor voice?
- #HashtagForLaughs: Liv becomes obsessed by social media after eating the brain of an "online influencer" and spends the episode posting pictures online and tagging them (or even her spoken phrases) with ridiculous hashtags such as #BrainFood, #CoveringMyAss, and #bootyhadmelikewhat?
- Internal Reveal:
- Liv finds out that Blaine is the mysterious competitor threatening Mr. Boss's criminal enterprise.
- Vaughn finds out that Major lied about Baracus being a zombie (though Major seems to convince him that Baracus is the only zombie he's skipped over).
- Jack the Ripoff: Mr. Boss's men stage the DA's house so that his murder will be attributed to the Chaos Killer. Oddly enough, the real Chaos Killer ends up taking out the DA and making it look like a suicide.
- Mugging the Monster: The hitmen Mr. Boss sends after the DA would have been perfectly capable of handling the ordinary middle-aged man he appeared to be. Too bad for them that he's a zombie.
- Newspaper Dating: Major takes a picture of Baracus's (drugged into unconsciousness) body along with the day's newspaper and sends it to Vaughn as proof that he's actually dead.
- Resignations Not Accepted: The mayor refuses to accept Peyton's resignation from the DA's office.
- Shout-Out: Liv references The Princess Bride, with a twist.Liv: Never start a land war in Asia. Don't go toe-to-toe with Peyton Charles when drinking is involved.
- Social Media Before Reason: Liv's brain donor was run over by a bus while crossing the street and tweeting. Throughout the rest of the episode, Liv makes a lot of questionable social media choices, starting with posting a picture of her meal on the internet tagged #brainfood.
- Tastes Like Feet: Someone tweeting from Swaziland claims that "Max Rager tastes like the ass of a turtle swimming in a dirty river."Vaughn: Boy, I just love this guy's comprehensive knowledge of how turtle ass tastes.
