The 3rd episode in the 5th season of iCarly.
Gibby decides to open a restaurant in the school basement, but the others try to keep it a secret from the staff.
Meanwhile, Spencer creates burglar alarms when the Shays' apartment gets robbed, but none of his ideas are perfect.
- All for Nothing: Implied with the burglar who broke into the Shay apartment. They stole the TV and computer before running off... although Carly says that the TV is worth about $10, and it can be assumed that the computer's worth a similar amount. The thief clearly realized this, as the police find their items in a dumpster barely a day later.
- Blinded by the Light: Spencer's first attempt at making a burglar alarm is to connect 37 cameras to a motion sensor, aim it at the front door and have it temporarily blind potential burglars. It successfully blinds Carly, who demands he disable it.
- Embarrassing Cover Up: Mrs. Benson tries to enter the apartment while Spencer's robot guard dog is still working, meaning that she'll be blasted if she comes in. How does Spencer keep her from coming in?Spencer: Mrs. Benson, don't come in. I'm not wearing pants!
- Fire-Breathing Diner: Carly apparently can’t handle the spice of the red pepper flakes that’s common to restaurants. It gets worse when she drinks a lemonade that has red pepper flakes in it.
- Hidden Depths: Gibby's not only wanted to open his own restaurant for years, but he (with Sam's help) is a surprisingly good owner: the food is popular, the service is good/quick, he has several people working there who all respect him, and both Sam and the principal himself ask Gibby to keep the restaurant open (although we never see the restaurant again).
- Shout-Out: The scene of Sam beating Billy Boots in the restaurant mirrors, in a humorous way, Tommy DeVito murdering Billy Batts in Goodfellas, even down to the line “I didn’t mean to get blood all over your floor.”
