A power outage forces a band of creatures to venture out into a storm to turn the power back on. Emmy and Rochelle are stuck on Earth with their respective clients who clash into each other, Maury’s pregnant to Connie’s dismay, Gil and Joe try to eat the food before it spoils.
Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: At the end, after saving Maury, Connie seems like she’s going to have second-thoughts about parenthood. She doesn’t.
- Brutal Honesty: Connie straight-up says that being the designated ‘Hot One’ in a group means more to her than her unborn child.
- Friend-or-Idol Decision: Connie makes Maury choose between her wants or having the baby without her. He chooses the latter and even throws Connie’s ultimatum back at her when she gripes.
- Jerkass Ball: Lionel grabs it hard when he leaves Gavin to die instead of helping him.
- Killed Off for Real: Gavin gets killed at the end of the episode.
- The Load: Dante ends up being no help to the group as he pees on a tree, gets one of his dicks stuck when a tree falls on it and tries to save it when he and it are trapped in a chasm,
- Not Wanting Kids Is Weird: Connie in full force.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Pete gives one to Dante about how much of a jerk he’s been. To anyone who has watched the remainder of the show, you’d know this didn’t stick well.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: After the group gets Walter to turn into a hate worm to get the power station door open, Walter ups and vamooses.
- Too Dumb to Live: Dante basically screws himself over by thinking it’s appropriate to pee in the middle of a thunderstorm and then trying to save his penis rather than himself when they are both in a cave-in.
