Barney's plan to meet girls at the airport backfires when he and Ted are picked up by airport security. Meanwhile, Lily grows jealous of Robin.

- Marshall claims that he's never been in a fight before. Though possibly he's been lying to Lily and Ted about his pacifism for the last 10 years. It is also possible he is not including fights with his brothers.
- The first time Barney utters his Catchphrase, "It's gonna be legen—wait for it—dary!", there was no "wait for it." It only occurred in this gem:Barney: It's gonna be legen... wait for it...and I hope you’re not lactose intolerant ‘cuz the second half of that word is... dairy.
- Fair Cop: Barney tries to hit on a pretty cop (a security officer at the airport) and thinks he succeeded.
- Mistaken for Terrorist: Ted and Barney get arrested at the airport due to the latter's shenanigans. They are suspiciously messing with bags and they spontaneously hop on a plane.
- Shoddy Shindig: Barney is excited that he and Ted have been invited to a party at Sascha whom he met at the Philly airport. The party ends up being extremely boring. They all sit on a couch, staring at TV. They have to keep the noise down because Sascha lives with her elderly grandpa. Each guest only gets to drink one hard lemonade and Barney gets shushed when he tries to toast.
- Trivial Title: While Barney and Ted did lick the Liberty Bell, it was never shown on-screen.
- Wedding Ring Removal: Played with. Lily takes off her engagement ring to get the attention of guys at Mclaren's.
