While the girls play a concert on a tropical island, the locals start seeing Kaz as their almighty ruler. Ami and Yumi plot to reveal Kaz for the fraud that he is.

Tropes:

  • Flashback: Trying to convince the islanders that Kaz isn’t actually a deity, Ami and Yumi think back to all the times Kaz has been terrible to them.
    Kaz: Those flashbacks were doctored!
  • Hula and Luaus: The episode opens on Ami and Yumi wearing coconut bras and grass skirts as they perform for the natives of a tropical island.
  • Human Knot: Ami and Yumi tie themselves into this while trying to replicate the secret handshake of the natives in order to get into Kaz’s temple.
  • Mistaken Identity: The islanders mistake Kaz for the reincarnation of their godly ruler.
  • Surprise Slide Staircase: Ami and Yumi try to sneak into the temple that Kaz is staying in, but the guard won’t allow mortals inside and pulls a lever that turns the staircase they’re standing on into a giant slide.
  • Weird Currency: Kaz goes along with pretending to be the islanders’ god after realizing he could become rich with coconuts.

One day, Yumi starts sneezing uncontrollably. Kaz thinks that after being together for so long, Yumi has become allergic to Ami.

Tropes:

  • Bankruptcy Barrel: Kaz wears one while the girls make him rewash all his clothes to get off the soap that Yumi is allergic to.
  • Noodle Implement: Kaz requires many strange ingredients for his home remedy to cure Yumi’s allergy, their usefulness is never explained.
  • Plot Allergy: The group thinks that Yumi has become allergic to Ami due to them spending so much time together. In the end, it’s revealed that she’s actually allergic to the cheap soap Kaz is using to wash his clothes.
  • Rapid-Fire Nail Biting: While Yumi drinks Kaz’s concoction to hopefully cure her allergy to her best friend, Ami nervously bites her nails.
  • Sneeze of Doom: Yumi has disastrous sneezes because of her sudden allergic reaction, one being so bad that it even blasts her into space.
  • Shout-Out: Strangely enough in a kids’ show about a Japanese rock group, Kaz makes a reference to the 1960s TV series, Gilligan’s Island, while dividing the girls’ room in half.
Kaz: It worked with Gilligan and the Skipper!
  • This Is My Side: Trying to find a solution to Yumi’s allergy to Ami, Kaz divides the girls’ shared room down the middle with red tape. It doesn’t do much good.

While driving across the desert, the trio get abducted by ornery aliens who are intent on performing weird experiments on them.

Tropes:

  • Alien Abduction: The group is driving on their way to their next venue when they are picked up by a UFO beam.
  • Chekhov's Gun: In the beginning of the episode, the girls yell at Kaz for playing a video game while driving. That same video game is what later makes them realize that the aliens are just bored and need some music to entertain them.
  • Eating the Enemy: One of the fantasies Yumi is shown to have about beating up the aliens is of her eating them in a giant banana split.
  • I Resemble That Remark!: When it’s Yumi’s turn to have her inner thoughts looked at, the aliens call her hostile. She angrily refutes that description with steam shooting out of her ears.
  • Money Fetish: The intensity of Kaz’s obsession with money is shown when the aliens use a machine to look into his mind and see him fantasizing about bathing in a tub of cash.
  • Plant Aliens: The aliens that abduct the group appear to be three giant bananas.
  • The Power of Rock: Ami and Yumi defeat the aliens by showing them the joys of rock music, after which they agree to let them go.
