- Animal Wrongs Group: The animal rights protesters that "liberate" Magilla Gorilla from Mr Peebles pet shop. Not only are they stuck up and sanctimonious, they eventually abandon Magilla on the side of the road when his annoying puns wear out their patience.
- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: In the original Magilla Gorilla cartoon, Mr. Peebles was desperate to get rid of Magilla from his pet-shop. At the start of the episode, he's in tears over Magilla's safety.
