Flaring tempers, a horrific accident, and a serious misunderstanding all but destroy the circle of friends.
Parting November contains the following examples:
- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Shiro hits this point after revealing that all of her previous husbands left her or died before their children were born.
- Downer Ending: September's was just sad. This month's is downright depressing.
- Get Out!: Yumi takes her anger at Sanae nearly losing her leg out on Kouhei and shouts this at him.
- Love Epiphany: Masaki tells Mashiro that he had realized he loved Yuki after she passed his Secret Test of Character.
- Moral Event Horizon: In-Universe, Yuki believes Masaki has crossed this via his suggestion that she and Shiro abort their babies.
- Sanity Slippage: Masaki gives this impression after Shiro and Yuki leave him. Even Mashiro is spooked out by it.
- Secret Test of Character: Masaki gives one to Shiro and Yuki. Shiro fails.
- Wham Episode: Basically everything goes to hell for the entire main cast. Only Mizuho isn't affected directly, setting her up for her role in the final chapter as a result.
