Will Graham awakes from his coma and begins to piece together the events that took place after the bloodbath at Lecters home.

Bait-and-Switch : It's halfway through the episode that we understand that Abigail died.
Friend on the Force: Pazzi serves as this for Will, allowing him access to Italian crime records in order to help him track down Hannibal.
Moving Beyond Bereavement: For a good chunk of the episode, Will is accompanied by an alive and unharmed Abigail - despite having last been seen getting her throat slit eight months ago. However, Will eventually acknowledges that his substitute daughter has been dead all along, and tearfully says goodbye to his Imaginary Friend before she "dies" again; Will is left sad, but able to move on.
