In order to win first prize at the annual Fish Taco Festival, Hailey, Scott, and Beta must catch an elusive Blue Ono fish named "One-Eyed Jack".
Tropes:
- All for Nothing: After spending most of the episode fishing for a legendary fish, Hailey and Scott wind up just using fish sticks from the freezer... and win anyway, since the fish sticks' mild flavor doesn't clash with any of the other ingredients they used.
- Artistic License – Biology: The Blue Ono fish makes dolphin noises when it turns out to be friendly. Blue Ono fish (or any fish for that matter) do not produce the same sounds as dolphins or any sounds at all.
- Bland-Name Product: Scott eats a snack called Dingles - a stand in for Pringles.
- Couch Gag: Scott knocks over bowling pins.
- Disney Death: Beta appears to have been eaten by the Blue Ono and Hailey and Scott grieve over him. He comes back from the fish's mouth alive and well.
- Fishing Episode: Hailey and Scott go fishing for the perfect fish to use for their taco.
- Hey, That's My Line!: Beta says this when Hailey mentions her list item for this episode.
- Saying Too Much: When presenting their taco at the fish taco festival, the judge asks what the savory ingredient is. Hailey tries to pass it off as a family secret, then Scott says the whole thing about it being Dingles.
- Vomit Discretion Shot: Uncle Chuck spends much of the time leaning on the railing of his boat throwing up.
