"Meat Me for Lunch" is the twentieth episode of the first (internet) season of Happy Tree Friends.
Lifty and Shifty are checking their fridge, only to find nothing edible. They are at first disappointed, but they soon hatch a scheme. They steal various cuts of meat from Lumpy's butcher shop, with Lumpy himself being incapable of catching up to them. The automatic door suddenly closes in, causing one of the food items, a long sausage chain, to get stuck. This catapults the running brothers back into the shop, where Shifty gets shredded into sausages. Meanwhile, Lifty gets launched into a rack of sharp objects before sliding down onto what appears to be a seat. The sharp objects fall down and impale Lifty's legs and one of his hands. He tries to remove them, only to realize he is actually sitting on a meat slicer which promptly activates and begins slicing him piece by piece. Later, Lumpy decides to sell the cuts of meat literally made out of the raccoon twins, with Petunia buying a hotdog containing Shifty's flesh. Petunia seems to enjoy it until she sticks out her tongue, showing Shifty's eyeball and surprising Lumpy.
"Meat Me for Lunch" contains the following:

- Despite Shifty going down tail first, eyes are spotted first on the resulting sausage product.
- Both raccoon brothers' flesh is green instead of the natural color. Though this may be intended for a Shout-Out mentioned below.

- The automatic doors somehow close on their own (just to induce the raccoons' deaths) despite Lumpy still standing within their range.
- What kind of meat slicer that activates on its own without power running through it?
- Cruel and Unusual Death:
- Shifty gets shredded into sausages.
- Lifty is sliced into pieces.
- Empty Fridge, Empty Life: The episode starts off with this.
- Epic Fail: Despite Shifty being the one to hold the sausage links, Lifty is also catapulted into the butcher shop when the door closes on it.
- Expressive Ears: Lifty and Shifty's ears droop slightly when they sadly realise that they don't have any food in the fridge.
- I Ate WHAT?!: Petunia is shocked when she discovers Shifty's eyeball in her hotdog.
- Karmic Death: The stolen sausage chain is what leads the raccoon brothers to their deaths this time.
- New Job as the Plot Demands: Lumpy is a butcher in this episode.
- Pun-Based Title: "Meet me for lunch."
- Sausage String Silliness: With fatal results.
- The Secret of Long Pork Pies: Lumpy decides to sell the raccoons' remains as his own edible products. No one else seems to know about this (despite them being green ham, literally), until Petunia sticks out Shifty's eyeball...
