Two best friends wearing costumes!
"Two is company, three is a crowd."

Airdate: December 25, 2006

Cuddles, Toothy, and Cro-Marmot play dress up! — Yeah, not really. Flippy and the seemingly separate Fliqpy fight to the death in the ultimate battle between good and evil.

"Autopsy Turvy", AKA "Double Whammy: Part 2" contains the following:

  • Bait-and-Switch: The viewer is led to believe that this episode stars Cuddles and Toothy, with Flippy's previous story to be continued in another episode — then the real Flippy runs them over by accident with his car while wrestling Fliqpy before the title card changes from "Autopsy Turvy" to "Double Whammy: Part 2".
  • Beat Still, My Heart: An imaginary Flippy has his still-beating heart ripped out of his chest by an imaginary Fliqpy.
  • Brick Joke: Lumpy still thinks he's a chicken.
  • Danger Takes a Backseat: Fliqpy Off-Screen Teleports into the backseat of the truck Flippy tries using to flee from him, then attempts to strangle Flippy.
  • A Day in the Limelight: This episode is made out to be Toothy's first starring role of this season only to be a Bait-and-Switch moment with Flippy being the real star of the episode.
  • Downer Ending: Flippy has finally been cured and walks away a better man. Cue a van running him over and killing him.
  • Electric Torture: After knocking him out in the music store, Fliqpy ties Flippy to a mattress and tortures him with a car battery. Flippy escapes when the power surge causes the lights to flicker.
  • Enemy Without: Subverted. At first it seems like Fliqpy has manifested on his own to do battle with Flippy, but it's eventually revealed that it was all a hallucination caused by an overdose on anxiety pills and that Flippy was actually fighting himself by repeatedly switching back and forth.
  • Eye Scream: Two imaginary Fliqpys grab another imaginary Fliqpy and headbutt him so hard that his eyes shoot out.
  • Finishing Stomp: An imaginary Fliqpy stomps on an imaginary Flippy while his mouth is forced to bite a curb.
  • Karmic Death: Lifty and Shifty can be seen stealing musical equipment. They are then unceremoniously stabbed in the chest by flutes and whistles.
  • Kicking My Own Butt: Since Fliqpy isn't real, the knife struggle is just Flippy holding a knife to his own throat.
  • The Mirror Shows Your True Self: Flippy and Fliqpy both realise that their battle is just a hallucination when Fliqpy, who is holding a knife to Flippy's throat, happens to lead Flippy in front of a mirror and they see Flippy holding a knife to his own throat in the reflection.
  • Offscreen Teleportation: Happens multiple times throughout the episode. It makes a lot more sense once you know the whole battle is just a hallucination.
    • After Fliqpy fires a barrage of staples into the umbrella Flippy had taken cover behind, the umbrella rolls to the side to reveal Flippy nowhere to be seen, much to Fliqpy's shock.
    • After Flippy escapes Fliqpy and flees in his truck, Fliqpy suddenly rises from the back seat despite seemingly having no way of getting there in that short a time.
    • When Fliqpy electrocutes Flippy with a car battery, the power surge causes the lights to flicker. During one of these flickers, which lasts no longer than a second, Flippy disappears from the mattress he was chained to. He then reappears behind Fliqpy to punch him in the face.
  • Once More, with Clarity: After Flippy and Fliqpy realise that their battle was a hallucination all along, we get a series of flashbacks to select moments from earlier in the episode the way they really happened, with Flippy fighting himself by repeatedly flipping back and forth between the two sides.
  • Piano Drop: Invoked. During the battle in the music store, Fliqpy sets up a tripwire that causes a piano to fall on Flippy when he triggers it, knocking him out.
  • The Reveal: Fliqpy isn't truly real, Flippy has been hallucinating the whole time due to taking too much medication last episode.
  • Running Gagged: It seems like Toothy's constant eye injuries have finally ended when Cuddles saves him. Then both him and Cuddles get crushed by Cro-Marmot's ice and later episodes has poor Toothy still suffering from eye problems again.
  • Send in the Clones: Hundreds of Flippys and Fliqpys appear at the climax of the episode and they all brutally murder each other.
  • Tear Off Your Face: One imaginary Flippy tears off an imaginary Fliqpy's face.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Cuddles, Toothy, Lifty, Shifty, an innumerable amount of imaginary Fli(q/p)py's, and the original Flippy dies.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: Lumpy, The Mole, and Cro-Marmot survive.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: To Fight Club, since Flippy is just fighting an imaginary alter-ego of himself.
