Pretty Cure: Memories of the Sky

During the middle of the creation of a dark essence creation device, an unknown person randomly appears in the tank of dark essence. Being intrigued with the crystals, the man petrifies the soldiers and brainwashes Pommern into his bidding.

Nagisa and Honoka are both sent to a world called the "Garden of the Sky" to defeat the Dotsuko Zone and prevent them from corrupting other worlds. As the gang take in the scenery of the new world, Pollun foresaw danger and heads off to a forest to meet a specific trio.

Tropes

  • Accidental Misnaming: Besides the Elder and the Queen calling Nagisa and Honoka as "Pretty Cula", the former also refers to Lyria and Vyrn as "Erica" and "Carl" respectively.
  • Adaptational Badass: Pisard is originally the Starter Villain and is defeated in episode five of the series. Here, he's the main villain of the event and almost manages to win against the crew until divine intervention comes into play.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Zig-zagged. Pommern is notably more aggressive under Pisard's control while attacking the crew, yet behaves more normally while relaying information to Pisard in person.
  • But Now I Must Go: With Pisard defeated, the Pretty Cure has no more reasons to stay in the Sky Realm and are forcefully sent back to the Garden of Rainbows.
  • Crossover: With Pretty Cure.
  • Verbal Tic: Played for laughs when the crew plays a game of shiritori with Pollun and the latter's usage of "~popo" made it too confusing on which letter should they start off next.
