Trevor’s brother, Jeremy stays at Woodstone.

Tropes:

  • Call-Back: The events of “Trevor’s Body” are mentioned since Jeremy missed out on the memorial.
  • The Bet: When it becomes clear that Jeremy isn't leaving anytime soon, Jay bets that he can beat him at the football video game Jeremy used to play. Unfortunately, Jeremy spent the past decades becoming the world champion. Sam at first uses the ghosts to help Jay cheat, but after that falls apart, Trevor, realizing that his little bro needs to grow up, gives Jeremy a Wet Willie to make him miss the winning goal.
  • Chekhov's Gun: A flashback to Trevor and Jeremy's childhood shows Trevor cheating at videogames by distracting Jeremy with a Wet Willie. Later, Trevor uses his ghost powers to do it again so that Jeremy would lose and go back to the company.
  • Eskimos Aren't Real: Upon seeing a book on dinosaurs a guest left behind, Isaac initially bemoans how the museum has resorted to using made-up creatures as exhibits. Justified, as the term "dinosaur" wasn't coined until decades after his death. When the others fill him in on the truth, he freaks out for a few minutes before developing a bit of an obsession.
  • Headbutting Pachy: Isaac becomes obsessed with dinosaurs after someone left a pop-up book on them, and especially becomes fond of the Pachycephalosaurus and its head-butting ability. He later tries to give Trevor a "Pachycephalosaurus Head Butt" to keep him from helping Jeremy win his bet. but ends up going through the wall and falling two stories down.
  • Loophole Abuse: Jeremy exploited the fact that Jay forgot to put a limit on the inn's free points program, and so he ordered enough to stay for a whole year.
  • Mythology Gag: Sasappis states that he would vomit if he saw Carol and Pete making love to each other, if he even can vomit. In the UK version, Kitty is seen vomiting as a ghost.
  • Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: When Thor tries to dial down the intensity by calling Pete "little buddy", Pete isn't having it saying "I'm not your little buddy!" before punching him in the face.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Pete reaches his when he finds out Thorfinn had sex with Carol, enough to actually hit him in the face.
  • Running Gag: When Jeremy asks why Sam shouts out Trevor's name after Jay wins the game, Sam, as usual, immediately begins to over explain it as just a simple mistake. Once again, Hetty has to tell her to stop talking.
