As the Manhattan and Hamato Clans recover the stolen disks for Xanatos, the Turtles begin to question the trustworthiness of David and Demona.
Tropes for this chapter:
- Everyone Has Standards: Raphael who is normally hot blooded and prone to anger admits to seeing Demona’s hatred of humans unnerving.
- Literal-Minded: Donnie points out the improbability of Demona being able to hunt down the Vikings descendants, only to realize she doesn’t want any criticism.
- Properly Paranoid: Donnie and Raph are suspicious of Xanatos and Demona, for Xanatos and how he seems to know more than he lets on and Demona for needlessly endangering humans. As it turns out they were right when David and Demona attack them and the Gargoyles.
- Wham Episode: David and Demon revealed their true colors, while they are stopped from killing the Manhattan Clan with Xanatos being arrested and Demona being missing, he now knows of the Turtles existence and it’s only a matter of time before Demona returns.
